About
Dr. Itai Bassi is a Research Fellow at Leibniz-Zentrum Allgemeine Sprachwissenschaft (ZAS) specializing in formal semantics and its interfaces. His work examines binding phenomena, nominal feature realization, and the theory of Focus and Alternatives within the ERC project 'Realizing Leibniz’s Dream'.
He investigates how linguistic features are realized across different contexts and how alternatives contribute to meaning construction in natural language. His research combines theoretical frameworks with experimental approaches to understand child language acquisition patterns.
