Isabelle Perrin

Isabelle Perrin is a Professor and Head of the Strings Department at the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo. She is an internationally renowned harpist, having served as co-principal harpist in orchestras such as the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra and Orchestre National de France, and is celebrated for her solo performances with ensembles worldwide.

Her research interests focus on harp pedagogy, classical and contemporary harp performance, and electronic music innovation through the Blue Harp (an electronic harp associated with a computer). She has collaborated with composers like Bernard Andrès and Elzbieta Sikora, premiering works dedicated to her.
