Isabelle Gunning is Professor at Southwestern Law School with expertise in critical race theory, human rights, and dispute resolution. As former President of the LA County Commission on Human Relations, she led community dialogues on policing reform.
Her scholarship addresses:
- Racial and gender justice in legal systems
- Cross-cultural human rights frameworks
- Faith-based approaches to professional ethics
Community engagement includes facilitating dialogues for Days of Dialogue and Trust Talks initiatives. She serves on the ACLU Southern California board and has international experience in clinical legal education.
