Isabel Huang-Doran

Dr Isabel Huang-Doran is a Research Fellow at the Wellcome-MRC Institute of Metabolic Science, University of Cambridge. She combines laboratory-based metabolic research with clinical practice in endocrinology and diabetes, focusing on the interplay between metabolic disease and reproductive health.

Her research investigates the molecular mechanisms linking obesity to endometrial cancer, building on her PhD work on genetic syndromes of severe insulin resistance. She completed her medical training and PhD at Christ’s College, Cambridge, as part of the MB/PhD programme.
