Iryna Struk serves as Clinical Assistant Professor and Interim Department Chair in the Department of Diagnostic Medical Imaging at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University's College of Health Professions, where she has held faculty positions since 2014.

Current investigations examine racial/ethnic diversity in sonography professions, ultrasound-based liver volumetry techniques, and placental location correlations with maternal-fetal outcomes through active collaborations with Downstate's Physical Therapy and OB/GYN departments.
