Ingrid Neuman is a Lecturer in the Museum Studies Program at Tufts University and a practicing Conservator of three-dimensional artifacts. She currently serves as the Museum Conservator at the Rhode Island School of Design Museum in Providence, RI, while also maintaining a private practice.
- Education: MA in Conservation of Historic Art and Artifacts (Cooperstown Graduate Program), BA in Classics with concentration in Mediterranean Archaeology (University of Massachusetts, Amherst)
Her career spans roles as Head of Sculpture Conservation at the Williamstown Art Conservation Center, teaching in Williams College's Graduate Art History Department, and serving as a conservation consultant for the Vermont Museum and Gallery Alliance. She reviews federal grant applications for NEH and IMLS and has held leadership roles in the American Institute for Conservation.
