About
Overview
Dr. Ingmar Schoen is a Senior Lecturer at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI), School of Pharmacy and Biomolecular Sciences. He holds a PhD in Neuroelectronic Interfacing from the Max Planck Institute for Biochemistry (2006) and a diploma in Biophysics from Technical University Munich (2003). His research focuses on platelet mechanobiology, extracellular matrix biology, and super-resolution microscopy (SRM). He leads the SchoenLab, which investigates mechanical forces in vascular biology and develops advanced microscopy techniques.
