Inginia Genao is the Vice Dean of Equity, Inclusion and Belonging at Penn State College of Medicine and a Professor in the Department of Medicine. She holds an MD from the University of Rochester (1995) and a BS in Chemistry/Biology from Marymount College (1990). Her research focuses on healthcare equity, cultural competence in medical training, and disparities in cancer screening and primary care. She has led NIH-funded projects on cancer screening behavior among Hispanic/Latina populations and binge eating in primary care settings.
