Inga Römer is a Professor of Philosophy with a focus on Hermeneutics and Phenomenology at the Albert-Ludwigs-University Freiburg since 2023. Previously, she held the Professorship for German-language Philosophy at the University of Grenoble-Alpes (2016–2023) and was a research associate/academic councilor at the University of Wuppertal (2008–2015), with visiting professorships in Göttingen, Würzburg, and at the Sorbonne.
