Igor Szeligowski

Igor Szeligowski is a Polish French horn player and educator with a distinguished career in orchestral performance and music pedagogy. He holds a Master of Arts degree from the Gdańsk Academy of Music (2000) and serves as a Lecturer at Poznan Music Academy, teaching French horn, orchestral excerpts, chamber ensemble, and specialized music literature.

• Current Roles: 1st French horn player at the Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera (since 2004), London Symphony Orchestra collaborator (since 2013), and teacher at Poland’s first French horn workshops "Rogowisko".
• Orchestral Affiliations: Sinfonietta Cracovia, Sinfonia Varsovia, Concerto Avenna, Pomorska Philharmonic Orchestra, Wrocław Philharmonic Orchestra, Polish Festival Orchestra, and Teatro Municipal de Chile.

His career spans award-winning competitions, chamber music collaborations (Varsovia Nova brass quintet, Mazo Horn Quartet), and decades-long contributions to instrumental excellence in Poland and internationally.
