Kostas Ifantis is a Professor at the Department of International, European and Area Studies, Panteion University of Athens. Previously held academic positions at the Universities of Bradford, Portsmouth (UK), National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, and served as a Visiting Professor at Kadir Has University (Istanbul), Seoul National University, and LSE. Served as Director for Research at Greece's Policy Planning Center (2005-2008). His research focuses on international security, Greek-Turkish relations, EU politics, and multilateralism. Authored/co-authored influential works on NATO adaptation, Aegean security dilemmas, and EU-Turkey relations. Holds visiting fellowships at Harvard, University of Michigan, and LSE.
