IdaRose Sylvester

IdaRose Sylvester is a Visiting Lecturer at the International School of Management (ISM) and Leadership & Learning Manager at the Los Altos Mountain View Community Foundation. Her career is marked by unconventional paths, including founding nonprofits during the pandemic, a for-profit company during a recession, and numerous community organizations. She specializes in building teams and programs to drive organizational and individual potential, emphasizing collaboration, equity, and perseverance.

Her teaching focuses on entrepreneurial strategies, leadership development, startup growth, and marketing. Courses include Continuous Business Development Project I (MNG251) and Continuous Business Development Project II (MNG257). She combines tech industry innovation with social good, delivering training in Silicon Valley-style rapid execution across corporate, academic, and community contexts.
