Ian Whittell

Ian Whittell is a Senior Lecturer at Staffordshire University's Department of Digital, Tech, Innovation & Business. He combines academic work with freelance sports journalism, having worked for over three decades in the industry. His roles have included reporting for The Sun, The Times, and ESPN, covering major events like Olympic Games and NBA Finals. He is a director of a freelance journalism agency providing content to national outlets.
