Ian Tyson

Dr. Ian Tyson serves as an Adjunct Professor of Music at Vassar College since 2019, with additional faculty appointments at Bard College Conservatory of Music Preparatory Division, Special Music School (New York City), and New York Conservatory of Music and Art. A founding member of Trio 212 and former clarinetist with the United States Air Force bands, he has performed at Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center, and Merkin Concert Hall as both a soloist and chamber musician.
