Dr. Hunter P. Goodman serves as Assistant Professor for Community, Workforce, and Economic Development at the University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture's Cooperative Extension Service. Her work focuses on nonprofit leadership, workforce development, and community resiliency through asset-based strategies. Goodman holds a Ph.D. in Leadership Studies from the University of Central Arkansas, an M.Ed. from the University of Southern Mississippi, and a B.A. from Rhodes College.
Research interests include nonprofit management, civic engagement, and consensus organizing. Her recent projects include publishing a chapter on nonprofit leadership and revising case studies on organizational resiliency during the pandemic.
She emphasizes community-driven solutions and has traveled nationally/internationally to study grassroots development. Goodman resides in Little Rock with her family, prioritizing outdoor activities and family time.
