Hui Lin

Hui Lin is the Deloitte Foundation Endowed Professor and Director of the School of Accountancy & MIS at DePaul University's Driehaus College of Business. She holds a PhD in Accounting & Information Systems from Virginia Tech and teaches financial accounting and accounting information system courses.

Lin's research focuses on knowledge management, accounting information systems, information security, and internal controls. Her work has been published in leading journals such as Journal of Information Systems, Information & Management, and Computers in Human Behavior. She has also contributed to practitioner journals like Internal Auditor and ISACA journal.

Hui Lin has received multiple teaching accolades, including the DePaul Excellence in Teaching award in 2014 and 2022, and the College of Business Online Teaching Award in 2018. Prior to her academic career, she worked as a business consultant specializing in ERP system implementations at Arthur Andersen and BearingPoint Consulting in the Washington DC area.
