Chenxi Lin is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at the University of Oklahoma's Price College of Business. She holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration (Accounting) from the University of Kansas, an MAcc from the University of Pittsburgh, and a BS in Accounting and Finance also from the University of Pittsburgh. Her research focuses on auditor behavior, audit quality, regulatory impacts, and corporate governance. Notable works include studies on SEC comment letter spillover effects, auditor verification during economic uncertainty, and shareholder activism's influence on auditors.
Dr. Lin's awards include the Hurley Roberson Award for Teaching Excellence and the Dean’s Research Excellence Award. She teaches undergraduate auditing and a Ph.D. seminar on corporate governance. Her research explores intersections between auditing practices, regulatory frameworks, and corporate accountability. Beyond academia, she enjoys woodworking, oil painting, and family time.
