Hugo de Almeida Vilares

Hugo de Almeida Vilares is an Assistant Professor at the University of Porto and a Guest Teacher at the Department of Management of the London School of Economics (LSE). Hugo is a Labour and Urban Economist, specializing in Applied Microeconometrics. His research focuses on labor market dynamics, urban economic structures, and econometric modeling. His work has been published in the British Journal of Industrial Relations and the Journal of Econometrics.

His doctoral studies were funded by grants from the Economic and Social Research Council (UK) and FCT (Portugal).
