Howard Neukrug

Howard Neukrug is a Professor of Practice in the Earth and Environmental Sciences Department at the University of Pennsylvania. He served as Commissioner and CEO of Philadelphia Water, overseeing utility operations, environmental compliance, and strategic planning for a system serving 2.3 million people. Currently, he teaches courses on urban water sustainability and established the Water Center at UPenn. He is a Principal at CASE Environmental LLC, advising cities on water systems and sustainability. His expertise spans green infrastructure, river management, and innovative water policy.
