Hongyuan Yang

Hongyuan Yang is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Technische Universität Berlin and Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin since January 2025, working under Dr. Prashanth W. Menezes. He completed his PhD in November 2024 at Technische Universität Berlin with a dissertation on metal-mediated iron-based precatalysts for alkaline oxygen evolution reactions.

His research centers on electrocatalysis for sustainable energy applications, specifically designing novel iron-based precatalysts using s-, p-, and f-block metals to enhance efficiency in alkaline oxygen evolution reactions (OER).
