Hong Wang is a Laura H. Carnell Professor and Director at the Center for Metabolic Disease Research, Temple University. He holds academic roles across multiple departments including the Cardiovascular Research Center, Sol Sherry Thrombosis Research Center, and Microbiology, Immunology and Inflammation. His research focuses on metabolic and pathological mechanisms in cardiovascular diseases, with emphasis on hyperlipidemia, diabetes, and vascular inflammation. Key techniques include metabolomics, transcriptomics, and animal models.
