Holly Dygert

Holly Dygert is a Lecturer in the Politics, Law, and Society department at Bryant University, specializing in sociocultural anthropology. She holds a PhD from Michigan State University and a BA from Hartwick College. Her research examines gender, economic development, community health, and Indigenous communities in Latin America, with regional expertise in Mexico.

Publications explore cash transfer programs, gendered community restructuring, and Indigenous identities, demonstrating longitudinal engagement with Mexican social policy. Recent work analyzes how anti-poverty initiatives reshape citizenship and gender dynamics.
