Prof. Yuna Heo is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the University of Basel and a Swiss Finance Institute (SFI) Faculty Member. She holds a Ph.D. in Finance and is affiliated with the Faculty of Business and Economics, Department of Finance. Her research focuses on banking, corporate finance, climate finance, and corporate sustainability, employing empirical methods to address theoretical debates. She previously served as an Assistant Professor at Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
Her research is organized into three streams: 1) financial institutions and market interactions, 2) climate finance impacts on banking and corporate behavior, and 3) determinants of corporate sustainability.
