Andreas Fuster is an Associate Professor of Finance and SFI Senior Chair at the Swiss Finance Institute (SFI) @ EPFL, and a Research Fellow at the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR). He previously worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and the Swiss National Bank, where he maintains a part-time research advisor role. His research focuses on empirical finance (household finance, real estate, banking, fintech), macroeconomics, and behavioral economics, with recent work examining technological advancements in credit markets. He teaches courses in financial engineering, macroeconomics, and financial econometrics at EPFL.
