Henry Tracy is a Professor of Chemistry in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Southern Maine's College of Science, Technology, and Health. He holds a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry from MIT and an AB in Chemistry from Bowdoin College.
His research focuses on inorganic chemistry, materials science, and chemical education, with particular expertise in aggregation-induced emission phenomena, photoluminescent materials, and organic synthesis. He maintains an active research laboratory and has developed innovative laboratory curricula for organic chemistry education.
Professor Tracy teaches undergraduate courses including Principles of Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Spectroscopy, and Inorganic Chemistry. He coordinates the first-year chemistry laboratory program and maintains extensive online course resources for students.
