Henrik Soderstrom is a Professor in the Division of Art+Design at Indiana Wesleyan University. He specializes in interdisciplinary art, set design, and collaborative projects with musicians and ensembles. His work spans visual art, music visuals, and community engagement through residencies and teaching.

Research & Collaboration: Known for his work with Yo-Yo Ma’s Silk Road Project (set design for Leyli & Majnun, 2009), album artwork for Grammy-nominated recordings, and collaborations with orchestras, quartets, and dance groups. Residencies include I-Park Enclave, Stonecry, Julia & David White Artist Colony, and Roger Tory Peterson Institute.
Awards: Grammy-nominated artwork for Off the Map (2009).
Teaching & Life: Teaches at Indiana Wesleyan University alongside his wife Dottie. Focuses on merging artistic innovation with educational practice.
