Henning Kraggerud

Henning Kraggerud is the International Chair in Violin at the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) since 2015. He concurrently holds a Professorship at the Barratt Due Institute of Music in Oslo and serves as Co-Artistic Director of the Risør Festival of Chamber Music and Artistic Director of the Arctic Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra. His expertise spans violin, viola, and composition, with works like Equinox: 24 Postludes in All Keys for Violin and String Orchestra (recently premiered). Kraggerud is a leading figure in classical music performance and education, bridging artistic leadership with academic roles.
