Helene Anthony is an Assistant Professor of Special Education and Co-Chair of the Department of Special Education, Language, and Literacy at The College of New Jersey’s School of Education. She holds a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from Michigan State University (1996), an M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Massachusetts (1985), and a B.A. in International Relations from the University of Delaware (1976). She has been a faculty member at TCNJ since 1999.
Her research focuses on inclusive educational strategies, literacy development for students with disabilities, and multicultural curriculum design. Key areas include language arts pedagogy, literacy assessment frameworks, collaborative teaching models, and adapting social studies instruction for diverse learners.
