Helena Maria Pinheiro is an Associate Professor at Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), University of Lisbon, within the Department of Bioengineering. Her research focuses on bioreactor engineering for wastewater and biowaste valorisation, integrated with spectroscopy and chemometrics for process monitoring.
