Dr. Helen Wadham is a Reader in Sustainability and Doctoral College Faculty Head (Business & Law) at Manchester Metropolitan University's Business School. Her research focuses on collaboration across species, sectors, and communities, particularly in human-animal relations within sustainability contexts. She leads projects like the BA/Leverhulme Trust-funded 'Racehorses in Transition' and organizes international seminars on interspecies decent work. She is a Fellow of the Royal Anthropological Institute and a member of ABIS and EGOS.
Her teaching spans 15+ years, emphasizing sustainability and research methods. She supervises PhD students researching interspecies care work and equine community wellbeing.
