Helen Burns

Dr. Helen Burns is a Lecturer in the School of Education at the University of Glasgow. Her research examines innovative pedagogical approaches linking creativity and cognitive development.

Research interests focus on art-based education methods that foster imagination and metacognitive skills as pathways to student agency. Current work investigates implementation challenges of these approaches in formal education settings.
