Heejun Choi

Dr. Heejun Choi is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor's College of Humanities and Sciences. A former Lt. Col. in the Korean Air Force, he served as a professor and software development center director at the Korea Air Force Academy before retiring in 2013. He obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Louisville and an M.S. in Information Technology from POSTECH while serving in the military.

His research focuses on interdisciplinary applications in Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, and Bioinformatics. Dr. Choi also serves as a deacon at G3 Church in Killeen, Texas, where he actively contributes to religious leadership.
