Hedwig Wagner

Hedwig Wagner is a Professor at Europa-University Flensburg, Germany, actively engaged in interdisciplinary research as evidenced by her 2021 guest professorship at Université de Lorraine (France) hosted by the Maison des Sciences de l'Homme Lorraine.

Her research centers on the intersection of geography and media science, specifically examining mobile media technologies and data flows within cross-border European contexts. This work integrates spatial analysis with digital media studies to investigate how technological interfaces reshape transnational social and territorial dynamics.

During her October-November 2021 residency, she collaborated with Angeliki Monnier (CREM research unit) and Grégory Hamez (Loterr research group), culminating in a public lecture titled "Interface interdisciplinaire entre géographie et sciences des médias" (Interdisciplinary interface between geography and media science) held on November 18, 2021.
