Heather Gilbert is an Adjunct Professor of Law at Mitchell Hamline School of Law, where she teaches courses such as Lawyering as a Business Owner, Advanced Advocacy, and Civil Dispute Resolution. She is also President and Managing Attorney of Gilbert Law, representing plaintiffs in discrimination claims across state, federal, and appellate courts nationwide.
Her legal practice focuses on civil rights, accessibility law for deaf and hard-of-hearing clients, and dispute resolution. She is a court-certified sign language interpreter in Minnesota and frequently presents Continuing Legal Education (CLE) sessions for Minnesota attorneys.
