Heather E. Bolin

Heather E. Bolin is a Lecturer in Music Education and Coordinator for Arts Education at Texas Tech University's School of Music. She graduated from Texas Tech University in 2005 with a degree in Music Education and has maintained an active role in teacher development since her decade of public school service in Lubbock, TX.

• Established Evans Middle School Choir as largest and most awarded program in UIL Region 16
• Collaborated with TTU Music Education Department through choral techniques mentorship
• Currently coordinates student teaching and serves as a faculty member at her alma mater

Her research focuses on innovative pedagogical approaches in secondary music education, particularly integrating stations and centers into rehearsal environments. She has presented at national conferences including SMTE, NAfME, and TCDA.

Professionally active as a consultant, adjudicator, and mentor for choral conductor-teachers across the United States, Bolin maintains strong connections between K-12 programs and university music education departments.
