Professor Heather Burrow is a Professorial Research Fellow at UNE's School of Environmental and Rural Science and UNE Business School, with 40+ years in agricultural research leadership. She directs ACIAR-funded projects in South Africa and Indonesia and chairs international livestock research advisory boards.
Her research focuses on tropical beef production genetics, livestock business performance, and agricultural practice change in developing economies. She previously led Australia's Beef CRC program involving 100+ organizations globally.
Qualifications include a PhD in Animal Breeding and Genetics (UNE), MBA (UNE), and Company Directors Course completion. She is Fellow of both the Australian Society of Animal Production and AAABG.
