Professor Lewis Kahn is a Professorial Research Fellow at the University of New England, affiliated with the School of Environmental and Rural Science within the Faculty of Science, Agriculture, Business and Law. His work bridges research, industry, and policy, focusing on sustainable livestock production systems.
His research interests span a broad spectrum of agricultural science, particularly in livestock health, nutrition, reproduction, and survival. He earned a BRurSci (First Class Honours) and a PhD in Biochemistry, Microbiology, and Nutrition, both from the University of New England, establishing a long-standing academic and research connection to the institution.
