Harri Englund is a Professor of Social Anthropology at the University of Cambridge, affiliated with Churchill College. His research explores obligations, rights, and justice in vernacular contexts, focusing on religious, economic, legal, and political dynamics in Africa and African-European relations.

- Leadership: Former Director of the Centre of African Studies (2013–2017)
