Dr. Haotian Wang is an Assistant Professor at the Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences (RCEES), Chinese Academy of Sciences. He currently holds a Humboldt Research Fellowship for Postdocs at the Department of Cell Toxicology, Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ) in Leipzig, Germany. His research focuses on integrating data science with environmental toxicology to identify neurotoxic chemicals in aquatic environments.
Education: B.Sc. in Environmental Engineering (Beijing Normal University, 2015); Ph.D. in Environmental Chemistry (Beijing Normal University, 2021). Postdoctoral research at RCEES (2021-2023) and visiting scholar at Technical University of Denmark (2020).
Research interests include toxicokinetic modeling, bioaccumulation of pollutants, nontargeted analysis (NTA), and machine learning applications in environmental chemistry. He develops high-throughput analytical tools to prioritize neurotoxic contaminants and improve hazard assessment frameworks.
Awards: Humboldt Research Fellowship (2023). Collaborations include work on the MLinvitroTox tool for prioritizing chemicals using high-resolution mass spectrometry data.
