Hans Nijman

Prof. Dr. Hans W. Nijman is a Professor of Gynecologic Oncology and Immunotherapy at the University of Groningen, Netherlands, and heads the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG). He specializes in translational and clinical research focused on tumor immunology, with a particular emphasis on gynecologic cancers. His work includes developing immunotherapeutic strategies and optimizing cancer networks for equitable patient care.

Education & Positions: Trained in Obstetrics & Gynecology (1995–2000) with a PhD in Immunology (1995), followed by a gynecologic oncology fellowship in Toronto (2001–2002).
