Hannah Wegmann is an Clinical Assistant Professor and French Undergraduate Advisor at the University of Maryland's School of Languages, Literatures, and Cultures. She holds a PhD in Modern French Studies from the same institution (2018) and has been teaching French language and literature courses since 2011. Her research focuses on 19th-century French novels, analyzing urbanization narratives and migration's role in shaping social, moral, and physical transformations. She also explores intersections of art history, literature, and linguistic theory, alongside religious intertextuality in early 20th-century texts.
