Sharon D. Larson is an Associate Professor in the Department of Modern and Classical Languages and Literatures at Christopher Newport University (CNU). She holds a Ph.D. in French Studies from Brown University (2009) and a B.A. in French Language and Literature from Smith College (2001). Her expertise spans 19th- and 20th-century French literature and culture, with a focus on decadent and naturalist literatures, gender studies, and medical discourses on sexual difference.
