Hannah Bolland is a Surrey Future Fellow at the University of Surrey, School of Veterinary Medicine, Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences. She holds a PhD from the University of Nottingham (investigating RNA helicases in hypoxic colorectal cancers) and completed postdoctoral research at the University of Oxford’s Institute of Radiation Oncology, focusing on radiosensitization mechanisms in hypoxic cells. Her research explores peroxisome biogenesis in cancers, tumor microenvironment dynamics, and hypoxia-driven therapy resistance. She is also a Fellow of Advance HE (FHEA).
