Dr. Hanna Honchar is affiliated with the Department of Community Ecology at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ) in Halle, Germany. Her research focuses on wild bee ecology, pollination systems, and ecological monitoring. She has held academic positions at the UFZ since 2022, including roles in Conservation Biology and Social-Ecological Systems, and previously at the Institute for Evolutionary Ecology NAS of Ukraine from 2012 to 2022.
Her current projects include RestPoll (restoring pollinator habitats in European agricultural landscapes) and the SPRING project.
