Hani Elsayed-Ali is a Professor and Batten Endowed Eminent Scholar in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at Old Dominion University (ODU). He earned his BS (1979), MS (1982), and PhD (1985) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Miami and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His career includes roles as a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois and a Scientist at the University of Rochester's Laboratory for Laser Energetics before joining ODU in 1992.
