Handel Kashope Wright

Handel Kashope Wright is a Professor and Director of the Centre for Culture, Identity & Education at the University of British Columbia's Faculty of Education. He holds a prominent role in the Department of Educational Studies (EDST), where he contributes to programs such as the PhD in Educational Studies, EdD in Educational Leadership and Policy, and various Master's programs in Adult Learning, Curriculum Leadership, and Higher Education. His work intersects with climate justice, Indigenous educational resurgence, and cultural identity in education.
