Hamed GOLZAD

Hamed GOLZAD is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Building & Construction Management at the School of Design and Built Environment, University of Canberra. He holds a PhD from Queensland University of Technology (2019), an MEng from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (2013), and a BEng in Civil Engineering from Islamic Azad University (2010). Prior to academia, he worked as a site engineer and project manager for six years, gaining industry experience across diverse projects.

His research focuses on occupational health and safety, sustainability in construction, digital engineering, and workforce training. He has secured over A$725,000 in external funding and collaborates internationally. Notable projects include training programs for women in construction and digital solutions for heritage conservation.
