Halima KERDJOUDJ

Dr. Halima KERDJOUDJ serves as an Assistant Professor at the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne's Faculty of Dentistry and is affiliated with Research Unit EA 4691 "BIOS" (Biomaterials and Inflammation in Bone Site). She holds key administrative roles including head of the "Biomatrices and functionalized hybrid materials" research axis and international relations representative.

Her research expertise spans regenerative medicine and biomaterials, with core focus on stem cells, bone tissue engineering, inflammation, hydrogels, vascularization, and cell differentiation. She develops advanced biomaterials for dental and bone tissue repair, emphasizing vascularization mechanisms and 3D microenvironment design.

Her significant publications (2016-2017) in high-impact journals demonstrate consistent innovation in biomaterial-cell interactions, with recurring themes of stem cell differentiation control, inflammatory response modulation, and vascular network formation in engineered tissues. Work appears in ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, Acta Biomaterialia, and Stem Cells Translational Medicine.
