Haley Brennan

Haley Brennan is a Bersoff Faculty Fellow in the Department of Philosophy at New York University. She specializes in early modern, Kantian, and post-Kantian philosophy, with a focus on theories of the self, self-consciousness, personal identity, and their applications in contemporary philosophy of mind and ethics. Her work also engages in canon-expansion and criticism within the history of philosophy.

Dr. Brennan received her PhD from Princeton University in 2024. She is affiliated with the College of Arts & Science and maintains an office at 5 Washington Place, New York, NY 10003. Her Spring 2025 office hours are Tuesdays 1:00-3:00PM.
