Amanda Brennan is a Visiting Assistant Professor of History at Vassar College, affiliated with the Women, Feminist, and Queer Studies Program. She joined Vassar in 2024. Her research interests span modern history with a focus on gender, sexuality, and social movements. She holds a BS from Georgetown University, an MA from New York University, and an MPhil/PhD from the CUNY Graduate School and University Center.
Her academic work bridges historical analysis with interdisciplinary feminist and queer theories. Office hours are Tuesdays/Thursdays 12:00–1:00 PM or by appointment in Swift Hall, Box 711.
